You should not have to worry about how he will react to what you do. Domestic violence is a crime and no one deserves to be feel afraid, controlled, threatened, beaten or feel in fear for their lives. Maybe you feel that you are some how to blame for the abuse. Your partner, and other people, may have told you that it is your fault.
But that is not true. Your partner is responsible for the abuse. And he alone can stop it. Remember - you have the right to feel safe in your own home and feel safe and respected in your relationship. That is why we offer free, confidential support and information.

The World Health Organization estimates that million people worldwide are living with depression. Many people with depression isolate themselves from those they love and others who may want to help.
